It's been a while since last release 4.0. The overall feedback so far is good for updates...I mean less bugs than expected from first release of rewritten ViStart. Right now Lee, our life-line coder for popular ViStart and ViGlance is very busy with his life and is in mess now so let's wish for his best fortune to get through them all well and come back soon. We all miss him and his amazing works.
After finishing university's lifestyle and obtain behalor degree, I started working on real jobs and this consumed me most of the time more than before. As a result, I could hardly spend time checking on every single email and watching posts in community to provide support. The only method I can easily provide for support is now Twitter since I can check it from my phone. Please follow my twitter @windowsx and tweet me with @windowsx so I can check it out. You may use #7TP for Seven Transformation Pack's related tweets.

Finally, after about 3 months of grand release crafted for perfection 3.0, version 4.0 has arrived. Anticipating what I pointed before that this release will be x64 and Vista centric development, it may sound little sad for XP users since those glories fall for Windows Vista mostly and some infamous XP x64 users.

The localization support is taking longer than I expected. I've done over hundreds of copy/paste all around the system up until now. My hands feel hurt now and I think I can't keep on with it tonight so I'll rest for a while and come back to finish it and release on tomorrow.

It's about one week left for the release of Seven Transformation Pack 4.0. Right now the product itself is finished besides ViStart and ViGlance that need some works to be done if possible. If there's anything you wish for besides above projects, make a note here and I'll try to work on it if possible.
Today Lee has finally released his specialised release of ViStart for Windows 7 version-like. Most of the codes in this release were re-written for optimal performance and stability. I hope this release can be pain-killer for old ViStart for time being. However, since this release was built without my acknowledgement, this won't be official ViStart 7 branch for Seven Transformation Pack but Lee's great fortune release. So, new skin you can find in this release doesn't belong to me and I think I was right to hold my resources before finishing Seven Transformation Pack 4.0.

Alright, the waiting is over. While Apple fanboy is carving for new iPods, I'm here to give you the one of hella release that should keep remembering for Seven Transformation Pack. Thanks to Windows 7 going RTM'ed, I can fully explore its resources without worrying about going to update again and again. So I take this time out for all I can do with this. This version contains over 50 lines of changelog, 3 new features that keep this version a lot cooler and major updates in UI.

I know some people may feel disappointed in small updates in version 2.0 which is more like 1.5 or 1.1 release. Well, let me explain about this so called small update. I'm not gonna rant, though. First of all I was busy in developing new features in ViGlance with Lee (yea, live thumbnail ones and pinning) which consumed most of the time in testing and filing issues to be resolved and how we should implement those features. Besides ViGlance, I was investigating in Vista support for Seven Transformation Pack and this research took me long enough to pull out with Windows XP/2003 compatibilities in safe way. I saw enough examples of separated packs and how it failed to approach users already. Why did I mention this? Because version 3.0 will use research I made during developing 2.0 for very very big update. You'll see the finest creation I've ever made with next release that could be the most stable and far richer in user interface improvements. It'll also rock in Windows Vista world too so keep in touch on 9th September 2009 ;)
If you want to cut out my ranting and get straight to the point then just get the latest version and read the changelog file. This post is about to describe in a useless and pointless fashion the bug fixes done to ViGlance. C'mon, these posts are getting boring these days...

Well, it's finally here. Although Windows 7 RTM is coming near. However, I don't think waiting for Windows 7 RTM to be released first wouldn't be wise enough because there may be tons of changes and need another long delay again. This version is pretty much simple for bug fixes and some in-house updates like ViGlance. But why 2.0 instead of 1.0.1 or 1.1? Because there're some special updates in this release and it's just only beginning for me (though some people may aware of this and get bored already).
