Panda Security announces new security solutions

The computer security company Panda Security has unveiled its solutions for netBook Panda Antivirus, Panda Antivirus Pro 2010, Panda Internet Security 2010 and Panda Global Protection 2010. In a note published on the official blog of Microsoft Outlook, Dev Balasubramanian, product manager, explains that the utility disables the Google search engine for Outlook and it is no longer possible to make the same requests partial in the software. "The plugin modifies a key to the registry to stop the search functions of Windows Desktop Search and the indexing of all data in Outlook, not just those synchronized from Gmail," says Balasubramanian.

Symantec announces two beta versions for Windows 7

Symantec announced the availability of beta versions of Norton Internet Security 2009 and Norton 360 3.0 for Windows 7. Available via a registration form, both betas have a license limited to 14 days. Both versions are in English and work with the Beta and RC versions of Windows 7.

Well my university exams are finally finished. I have a long 4 month holiday(vacation) now. So I can play OutRun on my Xbox 360.. I mean so I can tell you about the features I have been developing in ViGlance.

I have been getting more data about the blank taskbar bug that some users appear to be having. I can confirm that this doesn't just happen at start-up. All XP users are affected by this bug. Very rarely it may occur when you simply open the ViGlance executable.

Microsoft has decided to disable its instant messaging service for five countries embargoed by the United States. In Syria, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Cuba, Internet users can no longer connect to Windows Live Messenger. The Associated Press reported that this decision by Microsoft has been criticized by Cuba, the Cuban press, speaking in particular of a severe violation of the rights of Cubans, while the Microsoft service was operational for almost ten years.
