VLC Media Player is coming, what can we expect in new version?

Formerly for users wishing to stream video over a network, VLC media player has become one of the players the most popular and boasts almost 50 million downloads over the last six months. Become decidedly more affordable since the advent of branch 0.9, VLC is on the verge of a new direction by moving to version 1.0.

Presumably last minor update of the branch 0.9, VLC media player 0.9.9 introduces some latest patches. On Windows, the download is now available in full-screen on multiple monitor configurations, while under the hood some decoders have been updated. The Intel Macs benefit for their improved performance on video. The two platforms also benefit native decoding codecs Real Video 3.0 and 4.0.

VLC media player 1.0 code name Goldeneye is on approach. The first alpha is available now, the opportunity to take stock of the major innovations that we reserve player free.

It will be possible to pause a video and instantly forward frame by frame, the reading system reviewed waiting more than the buffer empty. A single click will launch more than a recording on the fly, it will not be necessary to pass first through a tedious step configuration. The interface will grow from a new record button and that will be more customizable.

There are also new opportunities for encoding and decoding. VLC 1.0 will be able to play movies directly from RAR and ZIP archives without prior decompression. It supports new audio formats and supports high-definition files Blu-ray and AVCHD. An interface dedicated to converting video made its appearance, while it is one of the first encoding format Dirac.
