Xperia: Fidelity GX 4.0 – Improved battery life, performance, stability and audio performance

After releasing 3.0 with tons of new extreme tweaks, I experienced some serious system issues few days after. Not that I haven’t tested it before but maybe I was lucky to not get into anything serious for 2-3 days before releasing it and I didn’t use that much on those days. Now optimizations are finely tuned again and things should work right and better. Soon I’ll release seperate packs for other devices after Windows 8 projects updated.

Xperia P: Fidelity GX 3.0 – Smooth GX fidelity experiences (Should also work on other Xperia NXT phones)

Normally I’d download cooked ROMs from forums and trying out to find the best one I prefer. I owned few Android phones back like HTC Desire HD, Galaxy Tab, Nexus S and now Xperia P. Sadly, Xperia P has very few ROM and only one developer keeps maintaining it until ICS release and now ROM was made since. After long desperately waiting hitting refresh every single day hoping to find someone posting cooked ROM, I decided I’d make my own then because I waited long enough. A lot of stuff picked to test and added carefully with optimizations making me think I should release seperate packages soon after finishing this ROM.

Site Rebuilding (Again…) – The new end of new beginning

Windows X’s Live website was founded since 2003. The first CMS I used was WordPress suggested and setup by old good friend Picturepan2. Days after Vista Transformation Pack made this really website sky-rocked having tens of thousands members and very high impressions, a few times more than current visitors right now I guess. That time we had issues about increasing database size and high load of server using WordPress. We regrettably tried clearing user database once but could not keep up with WordPress and that was how we moved to ModX CMS. I thought that would be the last time I have to rebuild the whole website from scratch.

Since ModX website found, it’s been over 5 years already. A lot of things planned to do went blank, interests shifted around along with era, most of my past works are designed for Windows 9x/XP system. And finally, the main reason of founding Windows X’s Live is still Windows X’s project repository. Since last year, we got several attacks from hackers worldwide and managed to keep up somehow until now. However, the current ModX CMS still has flaws and holes along with database size getting too huge to handle again. This could be good opportunities to shape up Windows X’s Live again to be what it really is content with.

Old and obsolete projects are gone. Some popular ones will be kept for old good memories. Currently usable projects will still be here along with my new interests found in computer audio and Android platform. Some news about IT wouldn’t hurt but this isn’t really tech site so updates won’t be so frequently like the others. Users will no longer need to sign up and can comment directly from their social network now. There’re lots of things to be done for this website to be completed again. Hopefully I can release some good projects after finishing all the current works I have left in real-life. There’re tons being developed and using unpublished right now.

Regards,
Windows X

Windows 8 Transformation/UX Pack 6.0 Released

To think a release based on Windows 8 RTM would come this soon… It took me about a month to decide how Windows 8 Transformation/UX Pack should be like for Windows 8 RTM. As many of you would agree that cutting Aero in Windows 8 is bad news, I tried several UI and resource concepts based on a mix between previous builds until RTM ones to see how the compromise solution should be like. And here’s the decided solution.
