After the long waiting, the most stable OS X Transformation Pack for Windows 10 build 10586, Threshold 2, or v1511 is here. Not just that, it comes with a real FinderBar! This will be the new venture of OS X Customization in Windows platform. It’s time to embark a new history of El Capitan customization!
Completed Windows 10 v1511 build 10586 (Threshold 2) support
Before we continue, allow me to tell you the truth. To hack Windows 10 v1511 with custom themes isn’t safe and there’s no 100% safe method available yet. After fiddling around for months with a few system restore attempts, I’d like to make some important notes here before installing on Windows 10.
- Don’t change back to default theme while installing – Default aero theme requires aerolite.msstyles to function or it may cause white screen flickering. If you change back to default theme while in hack mode, you may get white screen flickering on next startup.
- Always enable System Restore and create a restore point – Although I no longer experienced white screen flickering issues in finalized release. However, it’s always better to make pre-caution. You can restore back anytime if something goes wrong with the OS.
Real FinderBar port
It’s a new project made with sweat and tears from me and Lee again. Just like old days with ViStart, this first release is done in high quality that should meet your expectations. It has real menu bar, real taskbar, and real tray icons to replace real taskbar. And user interface is very close to real thing.
