Windows 8 Shows Signs of Growth

Microsoft’s Windows 8 may be the smallest player in the OS competition but you can’t count it off just yet. If last year, Windows 8 has not even recorded a single percentage in total sales of the global tablet OS, this year is different for the Microsoft product. Based on the Global Tablet OS Market Share: Q1 2013 report by Strategy Analytics, there are at least three million (7.4%) Windows 8 tablets sold in the first quarter of this year. Apple iOS remains as the number one brand, followed by Android and Windows.

Xperia: Fidelity JB 1.0 – My first JellyBean ROM for Xperia P/U/Go

This ROM was originally from Xperia P: Fidelity ROM as one of the best ROM for Xperia P users. Luckily, methods I use to tweak build.prop allow other devices to be able to installed without messing up original build.prop data so some people managed to get it working on other devices for most of the times. With enough support and contribution from users who use other devices, I can finally make a generalized version of this ROM working for all Xperia Novathor devices (P/U/Sola/Go)

Samsung Galaxy S4 Wireless charging requires an additional accessory

If the new Samsung Galaxy S4 finally has more or less the same characteristics mentioned in the rumors, it was a little disappointing knowing that it does not have wireless charger. Of course, wireless charging is definitely there, but not exactly what most consumers expect, for example a charger that is included in the box is the same one that is included with other smartphones, no matter in which country you buy it.

Windows 8.1: Uninstall the app from any PC

As you know, Windows 8 allows users to install the same app on any device associated to Microsoft, but with the arrival of the Windows 8.1 that will be announced at the Build conference scheduled for the end of June, a new feature will be integrated that will allow the elimination of all apps from the PC.
