After project announcement, I came up with a few designs for how application should manage the optimizations. It’s pretty tough decision as design approach kept being revised each time I choose tweaks to customize. The above screenshot is current design to see how user can customize the optimizations. Xperia Fidelity 7.0 – Fidelizer’s Android version
I started this project when I owned Nexus S phone trying to optimize system playing very low alsa buffer size for @6ms playback without stuttering. It’s been improving since then even I no longer use Nexus phone as optimizing OS to have with similar goal as what I did in Fidelizer is still possible in Android. So I kept improving things in Xperia phone with satisfying result.

Fidelizer 3.0 – Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2013
Finally, some Fidelizer updates after long pause since 2.1. I’ve revised and tried other approaches for dozen times messing around system while not making permanently changes. If this goes on, it’ll be forever until I get worn out with computer audio. So I decided to settle with what I tried earlier this year. It’s quite simple approach but effective while retaining natural transient of harmonics.
