It’s been so long since last time I updated this project. Back then there was hardly reliable Windows 8 patches. Since I started to apply UxStyle memory patching in previous release, I planned to make complete memory patching build in next version so all Windows since XP can use this without trouble and now I can do this after releasing OS X Mavericks updates with Windows 8.1 support.

OS X Mavericks Transformation/UX Pack 2.0 Released – Proper release with Windows 8.1 updates
UPDATE: Windows 8/8.1 patch for OS X Mavericks Transformation Pack 2.0 is released reverting improper patched files fixing ‘Change adapter settings’ and network tray icon malfunction bugs.
At first I planned to release this on X’Mas but considering previous version having critical problems like breaking Windows 8 activation, it’s better to release as soon as possible. Sorry I didn’t use Windows 8 back then so testing in virtual machine won’t know whether it breaks or not without being activated. In this release, all reported bugs are taken care off. Windows 8 x86 can use theme without trouble now Windows 8.1 is officially supported with start button modified for OS X ones as well. Upgrading to version 2.0 will also fix breaking activation bug without the need to applying patch or uninstall so it’s highly recommended to upgrade immediately.

OS X progress on Windows 8
After getting messing around with CM ROMs for a while, I think I’m quite satisfied with Linaro+Fidelity mods for Xperia Z/Tablet Z so I can focus on updating OS X projects now. Today I fixed Lion Transformation Pack to work with Windows 8.
There’s still a lot of work left to do for Maverick and IOS7 updates and few more 3rd-party projects to consider with good performance and usability.
UxStyle for Windows 8/8.1 Progress

Rafael started donation pool for Windows 8.1 support few months ago and finished with some little help from me so he kindly mailed me about some progress here.
